Job Description
Join the University of Vermont Health Network as a Registered Nurse (RN) to be part of the new alternative care unit at Shep 3 North. This unit caters to 18-20 long-term care patients awaiting placement, with diverse diagnoses. We are looking for individuals with strong communication and leadership skills, preferably with charge nurse experience to oversee LPNs and LNAs on the unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to long-term care patients.
- Oversee and coordinate with LPNs and LNAs on the unit.
- Ensure a supportive and safe environment for patients.
Requirements
- Valid RN license.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
- Long-term care experience is a plus.
