Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an RN, you will be responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care, adhering to care plans and physicians' orders, while upholding confidentiality standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Continuously assess patient condition and report changes to the supervisor.
• Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions promptly.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient needs.
• Comply with Aveanna policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide patient education and maintain competencies related to the nursing profession.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current state RN license and CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
• State-specific and discipline-specific requirements apply.

Preferences

• Recent clinical care experience preferred.
• Home health experience is a plus.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail, time management, problem-solving.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• English proficiency, ability to travel, and lift 50 lbs.
• Various physical demands and sensory acuity are necessary.

Environment

• Ability to function in diverse environments with potential exposure risks.
