Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network's Cardiac Vascular Care Unit. As an RN, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating care for post-procedural extended recovery and observational patients. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. Your role will involve directing nursing care, providing patient education, and collaborating with other disciplines to maintain professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate care for post-procedural recovery patients.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Direct nursing care, provide patient education, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of Cardiac Rhythm course within 3 to 6 months.
• Completion of Critical Care course within 3 to 6 months.
