Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. In this role, you will be a part of our progressive care unit, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population with various medical needs. Specifically, you will care for patients in neurology, neurosurgery, gynecologic surgery, ENT, and other medical specialties. Our 3-bed neuro step-down unit offers a challenging yet rewarding environment to enhance your nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients.
• Closely monitor patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide adequate support.

Requirements

• Valid RN license and BLS certification.
• Demonstrated experience in caring for neurology and surgical patients.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
