Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Pre-Op nurse in our 22-bay prep unit, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients preparing for surgery in our level 1 trauma center. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, both inpatient and outpatient, with a variety of conditions across all service lines.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients coming through for the operating room.
- Provide compassionate care to patients with various medical needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Experience in pre-operative care is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
