Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Staff Nurse II, you will provide professional nursing care to patients across varying states of health and illness. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, planning and implementing nursing care, and evaluating patient responses to treatment.

Unit Description

The Staff Nurse II serves as a crucial member of nursing and multidisciplinary teams, offering direct patient care, education, and support for post-care transitions. This role may involve taking charge as operational requirements permit.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in Pediatric Infusion and chemotherapy administration is advantageous.
• Proficiency in central line access/care and IV placement.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience.
