Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently looking to hire a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, documenting patient information, and working in compliance with physicians' orders and care plans while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Pay Rates

Pay rates are based on the case and acuity level, ranging from $30 to $35 per hour. A minimum of one year of experience is required for this position.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care.
• Observe and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as needed.
• Document all activities and care in a timely manner.
• Develop and update nursing care plans.
• Implement nursing actions based on assessment.
• Recognize changes in patient needs and provide appropriate care.
• Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and standards.
• Provide patient education and infection control measures.
• Maintain nursing competencies through education and skill evaluations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

Preference given to candidates with recent clinical care experience and home health experience.

Physical Requirements

Ability to speak, write, read, travel, and lift 50 pounds. Must be physically capable of various tasks including prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
