Job Description
Atrium Health is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med Surg) for a position in Macon, Georgia. This role involves providing exceptional care and services to a diverse patient population on the 6 Main medical-surgical nursing floor. As a Registered Nurse on this team, you will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring quality, safety, and collaboration in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Assessment, diagnosis, and care planning for patients
- Ensuring quality care, safety, and process improvement
- Collaborating with healthcare team members
- Educating patients, families, and staff
- Leading and advocating for best nursing practices
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited nursing school
- Current valid GA nursing license or eNLC nursing license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
