Job Description

We are hiring a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, merchandising products, and maintaining the store's appearance. This full-time position offers 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $18.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are neat.
• Assist customers to enhance their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain cash policies.
• Adhere to company policies with a focus on security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills.
• Ability to operate equipment like cash registers, hand jacks, and floor scrubbers.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
