Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the outlined Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of following company policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
