Sales Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a high standard of cleanliness. Your role will involve collaborating with our team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide feedback to management
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies
• Adhere to company procedures, policies, and security measures
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to provide courteous and prompt customer service
• Efficient and accurate cash handling skills
• Operational knowledge of equipment such as a cash register, electric/manual hand jack, and floor scrubber
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• High school diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
