Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Manager, Medical Affairs - Training & Excellence to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As a key member of the Medical Affairs team, you will be responsible for overseeing the training objectives, strategy plan, learning programs, and field excellence in the US Medical Affairs division. This role requires a deep understanding of Medical Affairs training and organizational skills to build strong relationships with key partners in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly within Medical Affairs.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to create scientific training curriculum and field Medical capabilities.
- Develop strategic training plans for assigned therapeutic areas and USMA teams.
- Onboard new hires and support continuous development of field Medical teams.
- Maintain and update training content to include new trial data and disease state information.
- Evaluate training program success and adapt methods to optimize adult learning.
- Contribute to the vision and strategic plan development of the Medical team.
- Handle other training-related assignments as the USMA organization evolves.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Science or Medicine - PhD, PharmD, or MD.
- 3-5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, with prior field experience preferred.
- Expertise in Jazz therapeutic areas of interest is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training program design.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and proprietary software.
