Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your focus will be on enhancing the customer shopping experience by delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Assist in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or above.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper use of equipment, including manual tools and machines.
- Adherence to company cleaning standards and policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a retail setting is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
