Store Associate

Job Description

Join ALDI as a Store Associate and play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a well-organized store environment. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and collaborating with the team to deliver a top-notch shopping experience for customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Weekly Hours: 32-40 hours
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Offer feedback on products and inventory to improve store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Capable of providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Able to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently
• Skilled in using store equipment safely and effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
