Store Management Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join Aldi as a Store Management Trainee. In this role, you will be immersed in all aspects of running a store efficiently and effectively, preparing you for a future position as a Store Manager. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff schedules, and implementing operational strategies while nurturing and developing the team.

Starting Wage

$26.25 per hour

Earning Potential Year 1

Up to $102,000 (inclusive of salary and bonus; amount may vary by location)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate core company values and competencies
• Supervise team operations and ensure exceptional customer service
• Handle customer concerns efficiently
• Maintain store appearance and product quality
• Participate in hiring and training processes
• Manage store budget and payroll
• Monitor and adjust inventory levels
• Ensure compliance with company policies

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Previous retail and management experience preferred

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, with prior management experience preferred.

Travel

Full-Time Store Manager Trainees may train at multiple locations as needed.
