Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining store appearance, supporting customers, and working collaboratively with team members.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as required.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional service to customers, aiding them in their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Efficient cashier operation and customer service skills.
- Safe and proper equipment handling abilities.
- Maintain cleanliness according to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Detailed-oriented, organized, and adept at multitasking.
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge.
