Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team to ensure an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform physical tasks including stocking shelves and general cleaning

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Safely handle equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Works well independently and in a team environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
