Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of the store staff, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Report product issues, inventory discrepancies, and other operational concerns to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure stock accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or above.
• Proficient in cash register operations and equipment handling.
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks and following company guidelines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• High school diploma preferred, with retail experience as a plus.
