Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Conduct inventory counts, monitor inventory accuracy, and report any issues to management.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
