Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a critical member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Stock shelves and maintain merchandise displays
• Process customer purchases accurately
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Follow company policies and procedures to uphold store security
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to operate a cash register and other store equipment
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Capability to work independently and in a team environment

Educational and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous
• Relevant combination of education and experience
