Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash policies and uphold company procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties and operate store equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking ability.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
