Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join ALDI, where you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, Professional Skills)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies while maintaining document and data security

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
