Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a well-organized and customer-friendly store environment. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, cleaning, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Performing general cleaning duties and maintaining neat merchandise displays.
• Assisting customers to enhance their shopping experience.
• Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively with store management.
• Providing feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participating in inventory counts and ensuring accuracy.
• Adhering to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Complying with company policies and maintaining document security.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to deliver courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Capability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Meeting state and local requirements for handling alcohol.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
