Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and support a positive shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and maintain security and confidentiality of data
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register and store equipment efficiently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
