Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of the store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. Your excellent customer service skills and collaborative approach will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or above
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• High school diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
