Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your role will be crucial in ensuring an exceptional customer shopping experience and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and maintain confidentiality of data

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register
• Capability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks per standards
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
