Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for maintaining merchandise displays, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment to elevate the customer shopping experience. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Report any inventory issues to management and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Capable of multitasking, staying organized, and following instructions.
• Meet all state and local requirements for the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the requirements.
