Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality.
• Complete assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Compliance with cleaning standards and company policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
