Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team, providing top-notch customer service and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills required for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Provide feedback on products, monitor inventory accuracy, and follow cash handling policies.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring document security.
  • Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise and general cleaning duties.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent customer service and cash register operation skills.
  • Ability to operate equipment safely and follow company policies.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
