Job Description
As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store functions smoothly and delivers an exceptional shopping experience to customers. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management
- Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
- Experience in retail environment is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
