Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing top-notch customer service, and collaborating with team members to enhance the shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Offer feedback on products and inventory issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security
- Undertake other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Capability to follow cleaning standards and company protocols
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Meet local requirements for alcohol sales and handling
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is a plus
