Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of the store, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
  • Adhere to company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
  • General cleaning skills and adherence to company standards
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Prior retail experience and high school diploma or equivalent preferred
