Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of the store, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- General cleaning skills and adherence to company standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Prior retail experience and high school diploma or equivalent preferred
