Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your role will involve working collaboratively with the Aldi team to ensure exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills essential to the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document and data security.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe operation of store equipment.
• Capable of meeting requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
