Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and offers exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience. This is a full-time position averaging 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Comply with all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of general cleaning duties and upholding company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
