Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Store Team Members at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core values and competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures and company policies.
• Adhere to security protocols for document and data confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Adherence to cleaning standards and company procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
• Prior retail experience preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Relevant work experience considered.
