Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining product displays, serving customers at the cashier, and ensuring the store is clean and organized at all times. By working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays neatly
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate well with management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Excellent customer service and cash register operation skills
• Ability to operate store equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and organizational skills
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience beneficial
• A mix of education and experience demonstrating the necessary skills
