Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will collaborate with colleagues, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to the overall success of our store.

Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and M.A.P. as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Comply with company policies while ensuring document security.

Physical Demands

• Stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and various physical activities around the store.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and carry out tasks with or without accommodations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Proficiency in customer service, cash handling, and equipment operation.
• Ability to follow company policies, communicate effectively, and work in a team environment.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
