Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the store's overall appearance.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies while ensuring data security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of maintaining store cleanliness and following company policies
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
