Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Team Member. In this role, you will handle merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and store upkeep to ensure a welcoming and organized shopping environment. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies
• Process customer transactions and maintain store cleanliness
• Offer outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute feedback on products and operational improvements
• Participate in inventory counts
• Adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company procedures and maintain confidentiality
• Additional assigned duties

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Customer service and cash register experience
• Ability to operate store equipment
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience beneficial
• Combination of education and experience considered
