Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join the ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, operating the cashier, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core values consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Assist in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company protocols, ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in cash register operations and equipment handling.
• Capable of meeting physical demands including stocking and lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
