Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a key part of the store team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI core competencies in all aspects of your role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure well-organized product displays.
• Deliver excellent customer service, assisting shoppers with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and follow cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring document security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
