Store Team Member

Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Store Team Member, where you will play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Full-Time Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store surroundings, and neatly stock shelves
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management
• Take part in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Capable of safely operating equipment and performing cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively
• Meet all requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages based on state and local regulations

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• A combination of education and experience will be considered
