Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Store Team Members at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your primary responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts, Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure accuracy of inventory
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
