Job Description
As a Store Team Member at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively within the team and with management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to improve store performance.
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years old.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of following cleaning standards and company policies.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Ability to meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
