Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a great shopping experience for our customers. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and neatly display merchandise.
• Provide outstanding customer service and support customers during their shopping journey.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash policies to minimize losses and adhere to company procedures.
• Comply with all established policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to provide excellent and prompt customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to maintain cleanliness standards and apply company policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Aptitude to work independently and within a team environment.
• Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages, if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
