Job Description

Join our team at Aldi as a Store Team Member and play a critical role in ensuring our store operates efficiently and provides exceptional customer service. As a Store Team Member, you will be responsible for stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. guidelines consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store surroundings, and neatly display merchandise.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team.
• Share feedback with management on products, inventory, and any issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Comply with company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Skills in general cleaning duties and adherence to company standards
• Strong communication skills, ability to work both independently and in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
