Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join ALDI. As a crucial part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Your focus on exceptional customer service and effective collaboration with the ALDI team will enhance the shopping experience for our valued customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively
• Communicate clearly with team members and management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of cash register
• Proper use of equipment and ability to perform general cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Capability to work independently and in a team setting
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail

Educational Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is advantageous
• Combination of education and experience may be considered
