Trach/Vent Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a Trach/Vent Nurse (RN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering quality patient care, coordinating services in compliance with physician orders, and ensuring patient safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Continuously assess patient condition and report changes to the supervisor or physician.
• Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families on disease processes, self-care techniques, and preventative strategies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
• Attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Preferences

• Six months of recent experience in clinical care.
• Experience in home health care.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to engage in prolonged standing, bending, and reaching.
