Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Trach/Vent Nurse (RN) to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with care plans and regulations.
Essential Job Functions
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
- Continuously assess patient condition, report changes, and update care plans.
- Document all care activities, assessments, and nursing actions accurately and timely.
- Implement infection control measures and educate patients and families.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance.
- CPR certification and state-specific experience may be required.
Preferences
- Recent clinical care experience and home health experience preferred.
- Attention to detail, time management, and effective communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must have English fluency and ability to travel.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring physical agility.
- Strong sensory acuity and ability to respond to emergency situations.
Environment
Must be able to function in diverse environments, potentially exposed to various conditions including infectious diseases.
