Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Unit Manager - RN to join our team at Genesis Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services committed to delivering high-quality care. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional healthcare services on your assigned nursing unit. This role requires a focus on achieving positive clinical outcomes, patient/family satisfaction, and employee engagement.

Position Highlights

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure safe nursing care coverage.
• Participate in developing strategies to achieve patient goals and prevent rehospitalizations.
• Mentor and educate nursing staff, work with medical professionals, and act as a resource on service quality.
• Manage medication supplies and adherence to policies.
• Provide direct patient care to maintain skills.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing with three years of experience, or BSN with two years of experience.
• Minimum one year of nurse leadership experience.
• Current State Board of Nursing licensure and BLS/CPR certification.
